Quest Diagnostics determined that it could save significant time and money by using commercial off-the-shelf software to conduct employee satisfaction surveys over their corporate intranet.
The surveys are run quarterly so that changes in employee opinions and satisfaction can be tracked over time. Branching is used to choose a specific path through the survey for each employee depending on their location and department.
Quest Diagnostics chose Cogix for the ease of use of the survey creation tool, for the ability to provide fine grained access control to the survey data, for the ease of deployment in a scalable, clustered, multi-server environment, and for its ability to use Active Directory for authentication and looking up department and location information dynamically.
